Midsommar - A Hallowtide in Pax Dei

As the sun reaches its highest point, we gather to celebrate Midsommar, a time of light, warmth, and the renewal of life.

Midsommar marks the height of summer, a celebration of sunlight, abundance, and the fullness of life. Rooted in Norse and Scandinavian tradition, Midsommar honors the summer solstice, when the sun stands still and the world feels most alive. Across villages, flower garlands are woven, bonfires lit to ward off ill luck, and maypoles raised as symbols of life’s renewal. It is a time for song, dance, and joyful gathering beneath the endless sky.

In Pax Dei, Midsommar stirs echoes of the Age of Paradise, when it is said only summer existed, an eternal season of warmth, light, and harmony. At this moment, the land feels close to that lost perfection. The veil thickens, demons withdraw, and peace returns, if only for a while.

So, as the sun reaches its peak, how will you celebrate Midsommar? Will you crown yourself in flowers, dance the spiral path, or share fire and laughter with your kin? Let the season’s light renew your soul.
