
R46 - Patch Notes

NPC Behavior & Aggro
- Fixed an issue where NPCs were aggroing each other endlessly when standing nearby.
- Fixed an issue where Zebians would lose aggro if they could not reach the player.
- Inquisitors no longer have a weird walking animation after an aggro loss.
- Fixed animal NPCs losing aggro when fighting on land covered in dropped items.
- Consecrated Ground produces significantly less aggro than before.
Combat
- Fixed an issue where the Windlash spell causes the wielded weapon to be invisible in some instances.
- Fixing a bug where using a bow was not interrupting the emote state - it was possible to lie down and shoot with a bow.
- Fixed a rare issue that prohibited player movement for a brief moment after heavy spam of short-cooldown spellcasting and LMB while already moving.
- Fixed an issue where some trees in the Corrupted Plains had no collision.
- Fixed an issue where sometimes characters and NPCs were not dealing or receiving damage when standing on or in gatherable plants.
- Made some optimizations on the Life Drain spell that was causing performance issues.
Building
- We added a garden building set with more than 50 different pieces and decorations, including benches, statues, a fountain, new ivy patches, and hedges and trellis building pieces.
- Fixed an issue with Ornamental Pillars lacking integrity with foundations and walls.
- Boars will always drop Sinew and Bone Fragments.
Art, Visuals, and Sound Effects
- Sheathed weapon straps are no longer visible when using Ambush.
- The visibility of cloth sleeves has been fixed.
- Yule Goat Mask no longer resists magical effects and now turns invisible when using Ambush.
- Fixed an issue where 3D meshes for plant materials did not appear when dropped on the ground.
- Disengaging the bow now has a smoother transition animation.
- Improved animations to make the bow draw transition appear more natural.
- Fixed character foot placement, moving briefly after stopping movement with the drawn bow.
- Fixed an issue where duplicated indicators would appear on Gneiss resource nodes.
- Fixed an issue where character portraits would not load or load improperly in Clan UI.
- Camera pitch has been increased to allow the player to look further upwards.
- Character skin no longer appears oily underneath applied tattoos.
- The background colors for several building material icons have been updated to be more consistent.
- Lighting the dungeons has been improved for Low and Medium settings.
- Increased indoor lighting to reduce excessive darkness in buildings.
- Changing mood when an emote is played no longer reverts character expressions to the original mood.
- Fixed an issue causing character clothing and body parts to flicker on AMD Radeon 7800 XT GPUs.
- Fixed an issue where ambient animal sounds, including foxes, could be heard at excessive distances. The frequency of fox ‘vocalizations’ has also been reduced.
- Temporarily removed the Fountain sound effect, which was excessively loud and requires additional tuning.
Crafting
- The Charcoal recipe yields have been updated: 50 Sapwood now produces 50 Charcoal, and 100 Heartwood now produces 100 Heartwood Charcoal.
- The number of items received while crafting higher tiers of Chamois recipes has been balanced.
- Fixed the Craft All option that could consume extra materials when the queue was not empty.
- Fixed an issue where crafting sometimes halted when crafting many items.
UI/UX
- The Redeeming Queue has been improved with new filtering and sorting options to make management easier.
- The Party UI has been enhanced to make grouping with friends and fellow adventurers faster and more intuitive. Friends and nearby players are now displayed in the party window and can be invited within 2 clicks.
- Fixed an infinite loading screen issue that was affecting some players with a pending party invitation.
- Fixed some infinite loading screen issues with the engine upgrade.
- Fixed the Delete Character window that was not closed by pressing ESC.
- Fixed an issue where the Delete character option was non-functional.
- Adjusted load order and added delay for loading certain parts of the map UI to eliminate flickering when the map was opened and closed repeatedly.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to split a stack could fail if the player selected a bigger stack than it was possible to move.
- Dueling system messages are now displayed with a Duel System sender name.
- Fixed the terrain in a Kerys Wildlands ringfort, where there was an invisible hole where characters could fall.
- Fixed an issue that made it impossible to place a Sign on the Hunter Stall contrary to the other stalls.
- Reduced the delay between dropping items on the ground, making it easier and faster to clear inventory.
- There is now a “Deselect All” option to hide all map markers.
- Added keybinds for Quick Stack button (Q) and Take All button (T).
- Fixed the “View in Journal” button in the crafting UI.
- The chosen sorting option is maintained after canceling a sale or buying items.
- It is no longer possible to interact with items through walls.
- Fixed an issue where canceling a building piece selection with Esc could cause the UI to disappear.
- Fixed an issue where a static landscape could briefly appear during loading screens.
- Fixed an issue where the Lobby could briefly appear during province transitions.
- Fixed an issue where the Lobby background could remain visible when logging out from a dungeon.
- Fixed an issue where the screen could remain black after respawning or using the Petra Mea miracle.
Localization
- Fixed a few issues with the Polish localization on certain clothes.
- Fixed some plural issues with Polish localization enabled.
- Fixed missing localizations of the various Loot piles.
- Fixed inconsistencies in the decoration pieces description style.
Performance & Stability
- Modified the low character detail option to remove the characters' and NPCs' shadows.
- Engine update from Unreal 5.4 to 5.6.
- Fixed issue with the building system support calculation being stunned by cascaded collapses of complex builds.
- Fixed an issue with the Ornamental Pillar and Short Ornamental Pillar supports that could cause loss of support and trigger cascading destruction of connected building pieces.
- Fixed an issue that could cause players to become stuck on a loading screen after transitioning between zones in specific areas, resulting in a "203 Connection Time Out" error and preventing the affected character from logging in.
