Market Square Part 3 Arrives on March 13 (auf englisch)
Hello Paxians,
Get ready for an exciting new chapter - Market Square Part 3 is dropping on March 13!
We’ll be performing maintenance starting at 10:30 am UTC, with an estimated downtime of 1 hour.
Along with the features we’ve already revealed in the recent spotlights, we’re adding a bunch of extra content, mainly quality-of-life improvements, to make your Pax Dei experience even better. Full patch notes will be available on maintenance day, but here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming.
Market Square Part 3 - Release Notes
The Compass
We’ll be introducing the in-game Compass! This handy tool will help you navigate Pax Dei, showing cardinal directions, nearby points of interest, and even your custom markers. Prefer to explore without it? No problem - you can toggle it off in the settings.

Building changes
As already mentioned, some important changes are coming to the building system, along with a bunch of new pieces - more details in the spotlight.
Discord - Voice Chat
Communication will get a major upgrade! Party and Clan voice chat will now be integrated directly through Discord, making it easier than ever to coordinate with your allies. Just open your chat menu and jump into the new voice chat lobby!
But that’s not all—chat bubbles are back! Now, messages sent in Nearby, Party, and Clan chat will appear above your character, making in-game interactions more lively and immersive.

Markets updates
Heartland browsing: You will now be able to browse through all the market stalls in your Home Valley from one menu! Open the ‘Tab’ menu, press Tab or I, and click on the Market tab at the top. Find what you need and press [View Location] to see the location on the map. You can even set a waypoint, which will appear on your map and compass.
Better Search & Sorting: We’ll be adding filters and sorting to make finding items easier! You can now sort by price, quantity, lifetime and more, on both local stalls and the Heartland Market. In the Heartland market, you can also sort by distance. This feature will be refined in the following updates.
New Market Stall Variant: Pimp your markets! A new market stall variant will be available, giving you two designs to choose from.
New emotes
Ready to show off some moves? New emotes are coming! Your character can now salute, cheer, and even dance! Plus, sitting animations have been added, and special emotes can even be performed while seated.

Resource Gathering Changes
Gathering wood and ore is about to get smoother than ever! A new interact UI will now appear when approaching tool-required nodes (like trees and ore deposits), showing the node’s name, description, required tool, and hardness level. If you have a valid tool in your inventory, pressing interact will automatically equip it, gather the resource, and switch back to your previous equipment when done. No more manual tool-swapping - just gather and go!
Unreal Engine 5.4
In this content update, we will update our Unreal Engine to version 5.4., following our principle of using the latest and most outstanding features of Unreal Engine for the best possible visual fidelity and performance.
